How do I transfer my phone number to Optimum Mobile?

 

Select Keep my number in checkout.

After your purchase, we'll send an email letting you know when you can start your transfer (port). Once in MyMobile, please provide us with your current carrier Account Number, Account PIN (or Number Transfer PIN), and the last 4 digits of the social security number associated with the account.

You can start your transfer before we deliver your SIM Card
Important: If you start your transfer before your SIM card is delivered, you will temporarily lose access to your current phone number. The account with your current carrier must also be active to bring your number over, so do not cancel it.

Your number will not transfer until you activate your Optimum Mobile SIM card.

Note: If you submitted your transfer request before your SIM Card was delivered, there is nothing more to do.

5. If you didn't submit your transfer request before your SIM Card was delivered, need your Account Number, PIN, last 4 digits of your SSN and ZIP code, then tap Start Transfer

Checking the status of your number

1. Sign in to MyMobile

2. Tap Activate service

Help

You will receive an email or text message from us if you entered incorrect information during your transfer request. You will then need to sign in to resubmit your request.

If you did not receive a notification from us and the status of your transfer does not update after 24 hours from “Request submitted,” contact your carrier for assistance.
