How do I manage calls on my iPhone?

On your iPhone, you can block calls, enabled/disable call forward, manage caller ID and view your call history

 

Block all calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings > Do Not Disturb.
  2. Update options:
    • Manually enable or disable “Do Not Disturb”, tap the toggle next to Do No Disturb.
    • Schedule a time for “Do Not Disturb”, tap the toggle next to Scheduled.
    • Allow calls from certain groups of people, tap Allow Calls From and select the desired group.
    • Allow repeat callers to ring through, tap the toggle next to Repeated Calls. Repeat call must occur within 3 minutes of the original call.

 

Block specific numbers

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Phone
  2. Tap Contacts or Recents.
  3. Tap the number or contact you wish to block. If you tapped Recents, tap info icon next to the contact or number.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap Block this Caller > Block Contact.

 

Unblock Calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts > Edit.
  2. Tap the minus next to the number or contact you wish to unblock.
  3. Tap Unblock.

 

Silence Unknown Callers

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone.
  2. Scroll to and tap the Silence Unknown Callers

Important: Before turning on Silence Unknown Callers, make sure they have important contacts saved or they could miss a phone call that they don’t want to miss.

 

Call Forwarding (Unconditional)

Call Forwarding (Unconditional) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number and will not ring on phone being setup with Call Forwarding.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding.
  2. Tap the slide to turn on. Green = Call Forwarding enabled.
  3. Tap Forward to.
  4. Enter the desired number to forward calls to (use your own number to have calls forward to your voicemail).
  5. Tap Call Forwarding.

 

Call Forwarding (Cancel)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding.
  2. Tap the slide to turn off. White = Call Forwarding disabled.

 

Caller ID Settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone > Show My Caller ID.
  2. Tap the toggle next to Show My Caller ID to enable or disable.

 

Call Log (View)

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Phone
  2. Tap Recents > All.

 

Call Log (Reset)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone > Recents > All > Edit.
  2. Choose from the following:
    • Tap the minus sign to delete individual calls.
    • Tap Clear then Clear All Recents to delete the entire log.
