How do I set up the Samsung Visual Voicemail app?
1. Ensure your device is connected to the Optimum Mobile network and make sure Airplane is turned off.
2. Call your mobile number from another device and leave a test voicemail.
3. A voicemail alert will appear on your device. Click the notification to open Visual Voicemail.
Note: If the Samsung Visual Voicemail app is not installed or needs to be updated, the Google Play Store will open to download/update Visual Voicemail first before proceeding to the next step.
4. Complete the steps to allow Visual Voicemail to access your Phone, SMS Messages & Contacts and then accept the terms and conditions.
5. Allow access to the voicemail app to make and manage mobile calls, access your call logs, and your contacts.
6. Enter your new voicemail password (4-7 digits), re-enter it again to confirm, and then tap Done.
Note: The default voicemail password is the last 4-digits of your mobile number
7. Finally, the visual voicemail will synchronize with the voicemail account and will display the voicemails.
How do I access my voicemail?
From the Samsung Voicemail app
1. From the Home screen, tap the Visual Voicemail app.
2. Tap the desired message, then tap the following options:
• Play message
• Delete message
• This will also delete the message from the Optimum Mobile voicemail server
From your device’s dial pad
1. Dial *86 or your 10-digit mobile number to access voicemail
2. Enter your voicemail password and then tap #
Note: The default voicemail password is the last 4-digits of your mobile number
From another device
1. Dial your 10-digit mobile number and when you hear the greeting tap * (star) on the dial pad
2. Enter your voicemail password and then tap #

How do I update my voicemail greeting?
1. From the Home screen, tap the Visual Voicemail app
2. Tap Menu (3 horizontal lines) in the top right and then tap Settings
3. Tap Voicemail Greetings
4. Choose your greeting:
• Default: Standard greeting using your mobile number.
• Custom: Custom recorded greeting. Tap Record to record the greeting and then tap Save.
How do I update my voicemail alerts/notifications?
1. From the Home screen, tap the Visual Voicemail app
2. Tap Menu (3 horizontal lines) in the top right and then tap Settings
3. Tap Notifications
4. Select notification options to enable:
• Show notifications
• General notifications
• Voicemails
• App icon badges
Note: Your Samsung device must be connected to the Optimum Mobile data network in order to receive a new voicemail. Airplane Mode will disable notifications.
