To help consumers make informed decisions about their broadband and mobile services, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is requiring an update to how pricing and services are communicated.
Starting April 10, 2024, providers of broadband and mobile services must display easy-to-read labels that show prices, speeds, data allowances, and other standard features of service. These labels are modeled after the FDA nutrition labels that consumers already know from packaged food. You can view a sample mobile broadband label on the FCC’s website.
These Consumer Broadband Labels are displayed on our Plans page, so that customers like you can review detailed information before making your purchase. This change facilitates transparency and allows customers to make an “apples-to-apples” comparison between service offerings and providers.
